Talon Ecological Research Group, founded in 2015, is a nonprofit organization based in San Jose, California. We conduct scientific research, implement conservation and management actions for imperiled species, and enhance grassland and riparian habitat. Our objectives include educating the public on wildlife conservation, giving students opportunities to get involved in ecological research to jump-start their careers, and to collaborate with other entities or individuals with mutual goals.

“When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe”
